Karibu — welcome

A calm base to settle into.

Pamoja is not a resort. Bahari View is the ground-floor apartment of a house we built ourselves in Jambiani — a village on Zanzibar's quiet south-east coast.

It's private and quiet, and the beach is just past the gate: white sand, calm water. Some guests come for a week; others settle in for a month or more.

The Beach House, also part of Pamoja, sits just behind and is currently being renovated.

Made for longer stays

The internet is fast and stable enough for calls and remote work, and there's a washing machine. Zanzibar's power grid can be unreliable, so we have backup batteries that keep the lights and Wi-Fi running through outages. Weekly and monthly stays welcome.
